In-store Launch Campaign for EDF Energy

With ever increasing pressures on family income EDF Energy were quick to realise that any additional help they could provide their customers to conserve energy would help not only their pocket, but the environment too.

In partnership with Currys / PC World, EDF Energy launched EcoManager – a wireless appliance controller that helps consumers monitor the amount of CO2 they produce and control the amount of electricity they use.

In-store launch activity ran as a test across an initial 10 Currys / PC World outlets. The campaign required Clarion to develop all headline and copy content and deliver the creative across packaging, point-of-sale and display units, brochures and flyers, plus a scratch card – each uniquely numbered to activate the on-line registration process and deliver data capture for new customer acquisition.

Following the success of the first phase activity it was agreed that the campaign would roll-out across all Currys / PC World stores nationwide.

This integrated in-store / online campaign incorporated a bespoke website registration process, generating warm leads via data capture for new customer acquisition.
