The A&DC ‘Discover’ campaign offered highly targeted blue chip recipients a comprehensive free review of their ‘discovering talent strategy’ – the open brief gave Clarion the opportunity to do something unique, something eye catching and something which would initiate a direct and measurable response.

Our solution – an integrated on-line and off-line campaign combining direct mail and a PURL (personalised URL) microsite. Each personalised direct mail piece was designed to take the reader on a journey of discovery – their PURL was revealed with the magnifying glass (A&DC’s ‘Discover’ icon); they were welcomed with a personalised landing page and response was encouraged via the valuable offer.

Among the response from this highly targeted mailing to just 120 of the UK’s leading blue chip organisations was one of the UK’s best known household brand names – they have since become one of A&DC’s biggest clients.

The PURL solution delivers great opportunities to tailor bespoke website content to individual users, perhaps based on their general behaviour, past purchases or previous content viewed. Journey’s can be tracked from end-to-end so measures of success for any activity can be accurately recorded, delivering valuable insights for ongoing marketing activity.
