the UK’s #1, 2 piece golf ball brand

The Srixon website is integral to their marketing plan. Designed and developed by Clarion from the ground up, this latest release runs in 4 languages across Europe and has been live since early 2011. It is considered by many to be among the best in the golf industry.

Rich and engaging content delivers something for every golfer: from the latest product information and a store locator to find your nearest stockist, to a golf ball custom fitting widget, Srixon TV and game improvement tips from their leading professionals. Regularly updated news of the Srixon player performance in tournaments around the world keeps loyal fans returning time and again.

Furthermore, data capture supported by email marketing, along with a mix of multi-channel marketing activity that includes online advertising, social media, in-store activity, events, affiliate programmes and search engine optimisation have all been effective in the ongoing uplift in visitor numbers.

Bespoke in every respect, this website design and build has been developed with the front-end user interface (UI) design being planned and scoped through information architecture (IA), site mapping and wire framing, on to final creative execution and delivery of HTML, CSS and Javascript coding; all with two key objectives; to act as an effective marketing tool for the UK and European territories and to deliver visitors a seamless user experience (UX).

The bespoke, easy-to-use and intuitive content management system (CMS) built in ASP.NET, also delivered by Clarion, gives us as the administrators full control over site-wide content across all 4 language versions of the website.

With so much to offer every type of golfer, the Srixon website lies at the heart of their online marketing strategy.

Since our launch into Europe in 2001 Clarion have supported Srixon with above and below the line creative and marketing activities that have enabled the brand to grow annually until we now find ourselves as the number one two piece golf ball brand in the UK market.

Clarion have been particularly strong in the area of websites. They produced www.srixon.co.uk which is considered in the golf industry to one of the best and is now available in 4 languages.

They have been innovative, helpful and extremely flexible with our growing needs. We are very grateful for what they have done for both the Srixon and Cleveland Golf brands.
